With both her parents being actors, Paula was essentially raised on set. The film business runs through her genes and it was never a question that one day she would end up here. However, she did take a useful detour. Having first studied Business Management at Queen Mary University of London, a strength of hers is to combine her creative filmmaker's instincts with her ability to organise complex projects and communicate with a no-bull-sh*t-attitude, always striving to get to the heart of the matter.
Paula has written and directed many short films and music videos and is currently working on her debut feature, while developing projects for Unicorn as Creative Producer. She loves the magic of the movies and wants to see alternate worlds and universes be created; transforming seemingly fixed norms and ideologies into more fluid ways of life with a wide range of characters. This is why Paula was so drawn to Katja’s visions for Unicorn Pictures.
Fun Fact: Paula lives in East London and spends her spare time at dog sports competitions with her Mini Aussie.
