LOGLINE
Bex, a young convict, grapples with the trauma of her crime with the help of a rehabilitation group inside prison. The group's tough leader, Ava, tries to navigate the stubborn convicts towards a better life – through a shared love of dance. But then, just as Bex starts to believe in her own bright future, her past emerges from the shadows.
A story of forgiveness, friendship and solidarity, told through one of the most powerful art forms: dance.
We were inspired by street dancers and their stories. A commonality we identified was that most of them used Dance as a survival strategy, which is the heart of the movie.
